Here, let me just place this 

on top of the other thing that I bought, 

two days back, for what I thought 

would help me be a better person. 

There was no reason to doubt 

for this one to work just as well.

Can you believe my luck? 

I got this one at a fifty percent discount. 

I had to buy it before the sale was through. 

Import charges cost extra. 

Sure, my room does look a bit cluttered 

but think of the person I’m going to be. 

Soon; maybe tomorrow, or the day after. 

Give or take a decade or two. 

What else do I need to buy next? 

The latest bling, higher price tags, 

superfluous slangs, cultural appropriations,
